Quick and effective communication between learners, teachers and assessors is vital to the education process and EMS is particularly strong in this area with its own internal instant messaging system.
Notifications immediately inform an assessor when work has been submitted by a learner. By clicking on the notification, the assessor can immediately access the learner’s work online, mark it and provide comments and grading where relevant. The learner is notified immediately and can access the assessor’s comments and grading and can redo work where required.
Alerts are generated automatically by the system on occurrence of pre-set criteria such as overdue reviews or units which are late starting.
Messaging allows messages to be sent to individual learners or staff or to wider groups such as classes of learners, all teachers, department heads, SMT.
